After searching for some time, waiting for the right car to become available, in parallel saving up as much funds as possible, towards the end of 2019, a deal was done on the Impreza. The car was purchased from Northern Ireland, conveniently from a shell fabricator, who had recently given the car a full rebuild. It is immaculate.​

Originally built by Prodrive as a group N car, used as a recce car by Prodrive initially in the hands of Richard Burns and Petter Solberg, over the years the car has evolved further, now sporting good power, a modern sequential gearbox and modern engine management etc. The car can be developed further, but it is a great base to start with.

 

Being the 2 door classic Impreza, with fitting wide arches and WRC styling, it really is an icon. Having an Impreza like this, has always been the dream. Now we have lots to learn about how to get the most out of the car, but the underlying aim is to make this an event winning machine.
